Daddy's House

Hey guys,

I want to explain some things about the state of Daddy’s House and hopefully clear up any confusion.

Back in 2016, I announced the end of Daddy’s House because I had honestly burnt out on it.  I also wanted to try some new comic ideas I had.

Eventually, however, I realized I just couldn’t leave these characters behind, but I didn’t just want to pick back up where I left off.  That’s when I came up with the idea of skipping forward in time.  It allowed me to trim the cast to a more manageable size, and essentially drop a lot of the subplots I was having trouble juggling anyway.  Now I can bring those ideas back in at my own pace and hopefully give them the focus they deserve.

There’s another change you may have noticed in Year 2–the lack of sex.  I promise it won’t stay this way!  I just wanted to establish the new status quo and the idea that not every chapter is required to have a sex scene.

In the previous volume, I often felt obligated to include a sex scene in every chapter because, that’s what you’re here for, right?  I was surprised to learn some of you really connected with these characters and wanted to learn more about their lives.  Hopefully I can provide that.

Unfortunately, due to my schedule, updates will continue to be sporadic for now.  New chapters will be released when they’re done.

I realize now that I never really explained any of this previously, and I’m sorry for any confusion that this change has caused.  It’s weird having fans, people who enjoy your work and are awaiting the next update.  It’s something I don’t think I’ve ever truly wrapped my head around.

Thank you all for your support.  Without you, there’s no doubt in my mind I would have abandoned Daddy’s House years ago.
